J Daniel Hollinger Discusses A Major Miss In The Teaching System

On the latest article that Danny Hollinger wrote, he mentions about the importance of collaboration within the faculty and working together as team to provide high quality education. In order for a group to be called as a team, they need to work together. Continuous team building events are conducted in order to help the members of the group build trust so it will be easier for them to relate to one another. Thus, leading to any successful collaboration. Here’s a cycle school improvement follows:

A school head or leader shall conduct an orientation phase for the entire team. This is to ensure that everyone in the group knows who are included in the team. Knowing everyone in the team will surely make a difference. Insights and ideas should be shared deliberately. It will be easier for each and every one to acknowledge their own strength and weaknesses and how they can interact with others and be better. As a team, you can set the goals together and as a leader, you must be able to know which to handle first.

Trust building among the members is the key to building a stronger relationship. It can be tricky but it has to be done. Some people may find it hard to relate to others as they were used to working alone.

Everyone who is a part of the group should participate in planning and decision making when it comes to a concern which relates to many people. Effective communication helps build a stronger relationship for the faculty.Needless to say, teachers should be clear enough on their goals and set S.M.A.R.T. objectives – Simple, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-bounded.

Commitment shall be made by everyone in the team to ensure that they play their part for the plan to work as how it is expected. Roles and responsibilities should be clear enough and meet desired implementation of actions.

The faculty members work effortlessly together, they can provide superior quality of education that will fit the growing times. This makes every member stronger and more capable to adapting than teaching in isolation.

A leader may have a hard time keeping the group together. That is why, Danny Hollinger is willing to share his expertise and help you build a high performing and collaborative team in your school.

The hit Broadway musical by Peter Stone and Sherman Edwards became the basis for this 1972 film about America’s first congress and the nation’s declaration of independence from Britain.
